Unlike other jumping rings, though, they're not cheap and you really don't want to just throw them away after a couple of uses. In fact, instead of throwing the old one out, you should consider using it as an alternative for your jumping rope. It's more durable than cheap jumping ropes and is adjustable, unlike cheap jumping ropes. It also comes with the advantage of utilizing bearings (which make it spin even faster), so it'll spin even faster even if you get really good at using it.

When you first start working out with a jumping rope workout, you may find it a bit challenging at first. As muscles become stronger and more limber, they can better absorb the impact of any movement you make, resulting in less stress on joints and tendons and a natural resistance to fat gain. You can start by jumping rope forward and then alternating back and forth between backward and forward movements, for example.

Another option you have for working out is to add in interval training workouts. These can include sprints, stair jumps, rowing machine workouts and much more. By increasing the intensity of these workouts over time, you can work your way toward burning significant calories. Plus, these types of workouts are fun and exciting, so you can keep pushing yourself no matter how far you fall behind. And since you only have a limited amount of time to work out, you can't be tempted to quit. It's just too difficult to do those lengthy treadmill workouts when you have a runner in your bed at night.

If you're feeling really brave, you might want to try some rope jumping. At the very least, though, you'll get a good cardio workout. And many times it's just as fun to jump on a regular old rope as it is to do the actual jumping. You can add variety and enjoy a unique workout that you'll be sure to love.
